A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name's Jouke and I've been doing photography for some time now. What started out as an interest for equipment, turned into a camera-acquiring, film-developing, street-and-wildlife-shooting, money-draining hobby. And even work every now and then.

Mostly I value moments of being, unstaged, honest and true. Silly sights, heartwarming hugs, odd occurences. Ideally an image that has emotion. For me, photography like this is a way to get grounded, instead of running rampant during the day.

My goal is to deliver a pleasing (set of) image(s) that conveys the moment, the feeling, by having clear expectations between the customer and myself and keeping an eye on detail when shooting. By being professional but approachable, empathetic and knowledgeable I aim for your best result.
